Softball: Leeds 10, Pinson Valley 5

Pinson Valley held the lead for most of the way, but host Leeds took over the game with a five-run rally in the fifth inning to win 10-5 in softball action Tuesday.
The Indians took the lead in the third on a two-out double to center field by Hana Presley that brought home two runs, and added another run in the fourth when Nicole Fisher reach third base on a passed ball and scored on another.
The Green Wave came back to tie the game with two runs in the bottom of the fourth, before blowing the game open in the following inning.
Lead-off hitter Emmie Waldrop was 2-for-3 with a double for the Tribe, and scored twice.
Lauren Keplinger went the distance in the circle for Pinson Valley, striking out six but allowing 10 hits and five earned runs.
The IndiansĀ (1-1) are scheduled to host Gardendale on Thursday, weather permitting.
