ANNISTON — The sixth-ranked Bulldogs had a plan for their Class 5A sub-regional basketball playoff against Mortimer Jordan: Stop Kaylan Hines, the Blue Devils’ point guard.

They accomplished that and then some, going on a 19-point run and holding Jordan scoreless in the second quarter, as Anniston rolled to a 55-22 victory Monday night.

No Devils scored in double digits, while the Dogs’ Ki-Yana Bullock outscored the visiting team all by herself. She scored 29 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Anniston.

Jordan finishes its season with a 15-11 record.
