Opal P. Cheatwood of Morris passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015.She was a member of Enon Baptist Church. She retired from Carraway Methodist Medical Center and Dolly Madison Bakery. She is preceded in death by her Husbands, Haywood Powell, Ralph Garner, and E.P. Cheatwood; children, Mickey Powell, Harold Powell, Bobby Powell, and Norma Sue Powell and grandson, Brett Powell. Survivors include children Robert (Susan) Cheatwood, Janice (Mike) Quick; Jerry (Nella Dean) Powell; daughter-in-law, Joy Powell and many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family and friends. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, from 1 to 2 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel of The New Gardendale Funeral Home. Interment will be at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery.
