HAVERHILL, Mass. — Police say a Massachusetts teen entered a Domino’s Pizza shop wearing a ski mask and holding a handgun not once, but twice.

Soren Monclova, 19, first entered the shop on Jan. 10 and, according to police reports, got nervous when he recognized a worker and quickly fled.

When it comes to criminal matters, however, Monclova apparently isn’t one to give up easily, police said.

He returned to the same pizza shop five days later, on Jan. 15, again wearing a ski mask and again waving a handgun, police said.

This time he completed the stickup, ordering a cashier to open the cash register, grabbing $20 and fleeing toward his home, according to police.

Police eventually caught Monclova, who resisted arrest, Prosecutor Stephen Patten said. Patten said police found four plastic bags filled with marijuana in Monclova’s possession when they arrested him.

Patten said police also found a black ski mask, a black North Face jacket linked to the pizza store robbery suspect, and a silver BB gun in Monclova’s home. Patten said Monclova eventually confessed to robbing the pizza shop.

Monclova, was arraigned Friday in Haverhill District Court on charges of armed robbery, resisting arrest and drug possession.
