Attendees can enjoy live music and a menu that includes chicken kabobs, prime rib and marinated shrimp catered by Design By Grace. Tickets are $100 for couples and $75 for individuals. Those interested are urged to reserve a place by calling 256-708-4068 or emailing HOPE@hopehorses.org.
Grumpy’s Down Under at 402 Fifth Avenue will host Cullman band Overtones which is set to play at 8:30 p.m. Doors won’t close until 2 a.m.
Another downtown staple, the Busy Bee Cafe at 101 Fifth Street S.E., is planning a New Year’s Eve party that will feature live blues and southern rock music, and the kitchen and bar will stay open late.
Moe’s Original BBQ in downtown Cullman will celebrate the New Year with a band and extended hours to 2 a.m. The restaurant and bar is located at 318 First Avenue S.E.
At midnight, Life Church will drop a 10-foot ball lit with more than 30,000 LED lights from more than 30 feet in Dodge City just off Interstate 65 at exit 299. The event begins at 10:30 p.m. at the church located at 471 Alabama 69 South.
