When completed, the new park will feature a splash pad, amphitheater, disc golf course, walking trail, playground and meeting house. The overall cost will be in the neighborhood of $1.5 million.

Sanders said the park is scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2015, barring any delays caused by weather.
