Jerry Eugene Denton, 62 from Mount Olive, passed away on the morning of November 5, 2014.  

He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Nail Elliott.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Kimbrell Denton and son, Brian Keith Denton, sisters, Peggie Kirby and Judy (Jerry) Crane, brother, Joe (Charlotte) Denton, mother‐in‐law, Bettye Kimbrell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was retired from the City of Birmingham and was employed at Gamble’s Parts Dart.

Visitation will be held at The New Gardendale Funeral Home Nov. 7, from 6-8 p.m. and the memorial service will be Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Big Oak Ranch (P.O. Box 507, Springville, AL 35146).
