Mary Elizabeth “Lib” Smith, Nov 10, 1929 – Oct 11, 2014 of Gardendale passed away at the age of 84. She is survived by her brother, Jerry Smith (Fay); nephew, Mike Smith and a special friend Kimberly Giordano. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mamie. Lib was a 36 year employee of the State of Alabama Criminal Court.

A visitation was held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Oct 14, 2014 from 2 until 2:45 p.m. followed by a graveside service in Moncrief Cemetery at 3 p.m.
