One person killed in crash on Barber Blvd.

One person has been killed in a single-car crash on Barber Blvd. (formerly Mary Buckelew Parkway) in north Jefferson County just north of Gardendale on Saturday morning.
A Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said that their deputies investigated the scene at 9 a.m., where they found a car off the road in a ravine at the bridge over Crooked Creek. The body of a male victim was found nearby.
The identity of the victim has not been determined, nor has the time that the crash occurred.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
