A 24-year-old Carl Junction, Missouri, woman has been arrested after she allegedly posted photos to Facebook of herself posing with a dead body, Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland said Wednesday.

He said the woman was posing with the body of 30-year-old Dennis Meyer, who was found dead last week in a rural driveway.

Copeland said he plans to submit a charge of abandonment of a corpse to the county prosecutor’s office. 

Copeland said authorities are still searching for a male suspect who also is pictured in the photographs.

Authorities late last week discovered Meyer’s body in a driveway in rural Missouri. Copeland previously said the body showed no visible signs of the cause of death, and that a drug overdose could have been to blame.

An autopsy has been performed, but authorities are waiting on a toxicology report.
