Gardendale Elementary School hosted a Fun Run Thursday to raise money for a new public address system for the gym. The school’s PTA chose the PA system as this year’s project. Faculty members placed a check mark on the backs of the students’ shirts each time the children cross the starting line. The students received pledges for each lap they ran. Boosterthon Fun Run organized the event.
