A jury in the murder trail of Preston McCombs has found him not guilty.

McCombs had been accused of murdering his mother, Sherry Fraught McCombs, last year.

The Warrior woman was found beaten to death with an aluminum baseball bat. Prosecutors had argued that her son was responsible because he stood to gain financially from his mother’s death.
