Dr. Susan D. Wells, left, recently donated $5,000 to the Regional Library and Arts Center. Wells has been a dentist in Warrior for 35 years and is now retiring. In honor of the donation, the library foundation will name the reference section of the new library after Wells. Wells is challenging all medical professionals in the north Jefferson and west Blount area to contribute to the library and arts center, and to leave a lasting legacy for these communities. Accepting the check is Anne Jolly, chairperson of the Regional Library Foundation.
