A mother and son have been arrested on drug distribution charges by the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team.

Barbara and Michael Ferguson were arrested Wednesday on Interstate 65 for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and trafficking.

“We made a controlled buy of Oxycodone from them,” a CNET agent said.

Michael Fergurson, 39, is still in custody at the Cullman County Detention Center. Barbara Ferguson, 61, made bail.

Both bonds were set at $1 million.

The two were initially living together in Barbara Fegurson’s home in Vinemont according to CNET reports; however, Michael Fegurson now has an address in Crane Hill.

No weapons or cash were seized in the arrests.
