Mrs. Brown passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister and aunt. Terri grew up in Holly Pond where she graduated from Holly Pond High School before obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Samford University. Terri was adventuresome and faced life fearlessly. She always wanted to “make a memory” and some of her most memorable adventures included backpacking solo across Europe, riding hot air balloons in Arizona, horseback riding in the Rockies, and crossing the French Alps on a gondola. Annual fall treks to watch the Auburn Tigers was a favorite pasttime. Terri loved her family and friends and was very involved in her nieces’ and nephews’ many school activities. Terri’s passion for life also extended to her faith in Christ, which was displayed in her many years of service at the First Baptist Church, including serving as deacon, Hearts for Mission Coordinator, and GA leader.
