Chase and Heather Shumaker of Cullman announce the birth of their son, Barrett Cody Shumaker, at noon Sunday, June 1, 2014. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches in length. Barrett is the grandson of Bill and Sheila Shumaker, Robert Cranford and Kimberly Gann. His great-grandmama is Iva Mae Reid. He is cheerfully welcomed by the family pets, Lizzie and Luna, who’ve also anticipated the new arrival.
