Medical Weight Loss Center's grand opening was attended by Mayor Max Townsend, the owners, many employees and area business owners.

The ribbon cutting and grand opening festivities for the new Medical Weight Loss Clinic located in North Cullman Shopping Center beside Belk was held Thursday, May 8, 2014. Mayor Max Townsend was on hand to cut the ribbon with business owners, Hannah Erickson, Jerry Dew and Brenda Dew.

Many employees were in attendance including Pam Drummond, manager, and her staff: Tammy Reid, Tabitha Reid, Natalie Calvert, Marcie Gonzales and Jennie Kinkade. Managers and weight-loss consultants also in attendance from the Medical Weight Loss Centers located in Huntsville and Hoover, Alabama were Bridget Chambers and Monika O’Keefe.

The catering was provided by Teresa Dyer Catering, which highlighted grocery store foods the company recommends for weight loss, along with specialty products and snacks.

Also in attendance were Melissa Henderson, Megan Fromhold and Katie Jones from the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce; Bruce Bright, owner of On Target Leading; Michael Chambers, owner of ZippyLid, LLC; Jack Ayers, General Contractor; Connie Phillips, CPA; Sean McDonald, owner of TechNola Advertising; Joch Leonard, owner of Leonard Design Architects; Sheri Hallmark, Wells Fargo Bank, as well as many other friends, patients, and special guest.
