A 78-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a vehicle crash Thursday morning.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that their deputies were called to the scene in the 10000 block of Bradford-Trafford Road, about two miles south of Trafford. A maroon Chevy Trailblazer veered off the road and ran into a fence.

The driver was declared dead ay the scene. His identity has not been released.

Investigators believe that the driver may have had a medical emergency.
