Kurry – Calvert

Miss Keri Regina Calvert and Mr. Daniel Michael Kurry were united in marriage at 4:30 in the afternoon Tuesday, February 18, 2014, in an intimate double-ring ceremony at the Richter Chapel in Cullman, Alabama, with Mr. Joshua Freeman officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Calvert of Cullman. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Edith Williams and the late Mr. Carvin Williams and the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Calvert, all of Crane Hill, Alabama.
The groom is the son of Ms. Debbie Farrell of Cullman and Mr. Michael Kurry of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Edward Earnest Farrell and the late Mrs. Diane Carol Streuble Lukaris of Lockport, New York, and the late Mr. Prosper Thomas Schmuckie and the late Mrs. Mary Margaret Goesslina Schmuckie of Louisville, Kentucky.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal wedding gown of soft white satin with an overlay of white chiffon. The fitted strapless A-line silhouette floor-length gown flowed into a sweep train. The bodice was embellished with intricate lace appliques on chiffon. The appliques boasted hand-sewn pearl beads which extended across the neckline and down the left side of the bodice. The detachable cape was of white chiffon. Keri also carried a hand-held bouquet of true red roses and white lilies.
The bride is a registered nurse currently employed in Vancouver, Washington, and the groom is a computer programmer in Huntsville, Alabama.
A dinner for the wedding couple was held at the All-Steak restaurant following the ceremony. The couple plans to reside in Cullman near family and friends.
