So how good is Manuela Fransisco at making biscuits?

Good enough to win her way to the Central Alabama finals of the McDonald’s Biscuit Bake-Off contest, which will be held next Monday.

Fransisco works at the McDonald’s on Walker Chapel Road in Fultondale. She is one of 11 contestants in next week’s bake-off, which will be held at the Galleria location on U.S. 31 in Hoover, directly across from the Riverchase Galleria main entrance.

The contest begins at 9:30 a.m., and the bakers will be judged by ABC 33/40 meteorlogist James Spann, as well as Greg Burgess and Calvin “Speedy” Wilburn from the syndicated “Rick and Bubba Show” on radio.
