Derricka Richard scored 12 points, as Fultondale overcame a slow start to roll past Oak Grove 39-20 in Friday’s third-place game of the Jefferson County Small Schools Girls Basketball Tournament at Corner.

Alexis Lockhart, who made the all-tournament team, scored eight points for the Wildcats.

Victoria Cooper led the Tigers (0-15) with 11 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Fultondale (6-7) hosts Parkway Christian on Monday night.
