Kenoa Jenkins scored 17 points as Holy Family Cristo Rey held off a late comeback attempt by Fultondale to prevail 44-39 in Class 2A Area 13 girls basketball action Friday night.

The Tornadoes (4-6, 3-0 area) rolled out to a big lead early, then withstood pressure from the Wildcats in the fourth quarter.

Derricka Richard led the Cats with 12 points.

Fultondale (4-3, 2-2 area) travels to Pell City to play Victory Christian on Thursday.
