Warrior woman charged with transmitting obscene material to a minor

Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey has announced the arrest of a Warrior woman on charges of distributing obscene material to a minor.

Jody Layne Stratton, 38, was arrested Thursday by Blount County sheriff’s deputies. The arrest stemmed from an indictment handed down by a grand jury in December.

The indictment charges Stratton with transmitting obscene material to a 16-year-old. Casey’s office released no further information about the incident.
