Jonathan Duke, the defending Class 5A state champion at 220 pounds, recorded pins in all three bouts as Pinson Valley won two out of three matches in a quad-match Thursday night.

The Indians lost to Tuscaloosa County 34-30; it’s only the second loss in a dual match for Pinson so far this season.

The Indians defeated Clay-Chalkville 60-15, and outclassed Hueytown 72-12.
