Hayden battled back and forth with Good Hope for most of the game, but the Raiders put together two late runs to pull away to a 53-38 win in girls basketball on Tuesday.

The Wildcats held leads in the first half of as many as eight points, until Good Hope reeled off 11 straight points to finish the half. Hayden took the lead back in the third quarter before the Raiders scored eight straight points; they had another eight-point run to close the game.

Brooke Meadows led Hayden with 12 points. Katie Parr, Evin Bibb and Hannah Padgett scored seven points each. Parr also pulled down 12 rebounds.

Kacy Thomas led all scorers with 13 points for the Raiders (3-3), hitting 3-of-7 from outside the 3-point line

Hayden (4-2) Hosts Walker in an Area 14 game Friday.
