Shirley Faye Trammell, born January 31, 1943 passed away on September 21, 2013 she was a resident of Smoke Rise in Warrior passed away Saturday at the age of 70. Faye was a long-time member of the Smoke Rise Baptist Church. Faye was preceded in death 13 years ago by her husband of 38 years, Bobby Trammell; also four brothers, Ray, Bobby, Hubert and Leon Wyatt.

Faye is survived by her son, Jon Trammell, daughter-in-law Erin; a sister, Sylvia Smelley and her husband J.T.; one brother, John Wyatt; two grandchildren, Landon and Briley Trammell; several nieces; one nephew and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Monday, Sept. 23 from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 pm with entombment to follow at the Oakwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Faye and the family request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
