Corner faced rough going as they hit the road for volleyball action Tuesday, losing to Winston County 25-10, 25-12 and the host Blue Devils 25-14, 25-14.

In the loss to the Winston County, Corner middle hitter Sam Pinion had five digs and four kills, and setter Cheyenne Bryant had eight assists.

In the nightcap loss to Cordova, Pinion had five kills, seven digs and three blocks. Outside hitter Bailee Hammock had eight kills and four digs, and Bryany tallied 14 assists.

Corner hosts a tri-match Thursday with area rival Dora plus Pleasant Grove.
