Gardendale’s Farmers Market will operate as usual Thursday, but this week it will begin with something a little different.

A special presentation called “Farming and Food” will be held inside the Civic Center. The presentation will be given by Dr. Rick Tubba, a veterinarian from Jasper.

Admission to the presentation is free, and begins at 12:30 p.m. The market opens at 1.
