Miss Samantha Blair Clements and Mr. Patrick Charles McDonald were united in marriage at 5 o’clock in the evening on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 in a double-ring ceremony at Stone Bridge Farms in Cullman Alabama, Bro. Wade McDonald officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Vivian Clements of Cullman, Alabama. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Betty Ross and the late Lenden J. Ross, and Mr. Allen and Charlotte Clements.
The groom is the son of Chuck and Patricia McDonald of Cullman, Alabama. He is the grandson of Ms. Peggy McDonald and the late Joe McDonald, and Mr. Ray and Jean Parson.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero Abilene-style gown in the color of diamond white. The fitted A-line gown was embellished with a corded lace visible through a sheer tulle and heavy lace overlay. A corset-designed bodice, accented with seed-pearls and crystal beading, complemented the finely constructed organza flower motifs to the hem, with a chapel-length train, creating a vision of dream-like beauty. Samantha also carried a brooch bouquet made of fuchsia roses with antique brooches given to her by family members and friends. Matron of Honor was Stacy Monk. Bridesmaids were Sheerah Pruett, Natasha McDonald, Ashlyn Goodin, Chelsea Burns and Brooke McDonald. The bridemaids chose floor-length gowns of pink chiffon accented with fitted bodices. They carried bouquets of pink and fuchsia roses with hydrengeas and greenery. The attendants were Jaci Bently and Allison Parson. Flower girl was Aubrey Smith.
Chuck McDonald, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Blake Malin, Trent Kocurek, Dustin Johnson, Michael Chandler and Josh Hines. Ringbearer was Parker Johnson.
Wedding music was provided by harpist, Emily Smith.
The reception was held at Stone Bridge Farms following the nuptials. Entertainment was provided by Pro South Audio. Shelly Smith Photography provided all wedding photos. Flowers were by Ava Grace Designs and cake was designed by Creative Cakes. Special thanks to Julie Graham.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Cullman, where they both are employed.
