The Morris Fire Department has received almost $10,000 in grants. One is a federal Assistance to Firefighters grant for $4,147 to be used for 25 Alabama firefighter handbooks, 25 study guides, two instructor manuals and a training mannequin. The other is a $4,967.95 grant from the Cawaco Resource Conservation and Development Council, to be used for hoses and nozzles.
