The Cullman County Courthouse won the Community Improvement award, while Stone Bridge Farms took home the Charlie Glover ‘Best of Show’ award.

Chamber Chair Melissa Cartee, who initiated and closed the awards luncheon, said the program has been successful for many years because of the diligence and hard work of Cullman business owners.

“This is about the pride of ownership from the businesses who enhance our community,” Cartee said. “The owners want their businesses to look good as possible and increase the quality of life in Cullman. It helps to attract other businesses to come into the community and encourages buyers or potential buyers to keep coming back.”

The PALS program also made a presentation of ‘Keeping the campuses clean’ where elementary, middle, and high schools were honored. In the elementary division, Welti took first place, Cullman City Primary took second, and East Elementary took third. Parkside won the middle school division. Cold Springs won the high school division.
