Winners named at Black Creek Arts Festival

- Rick and Jilda Watson of Empire were one of several musicians to entertain the crowd at Fultondale's Black Creek Arts Festival.
The third annual Black Creek Arts Festival was held Saturday at Black Creek Park in Fultondale.
The festival and juried art show brought more than 30 artists and musicians to north Jefferson County. More than $400 was awarded in prizes for artists.
The winners were:
- First place: Miriam Norris Omura
- Second place: Lama Art and Design
- Third place: Cara Fuller Photography
- Honorable mention: Hamaki Guitar Boxes, Carolyn Wass, Folk Art by She She, Maurice Cook and Nick Gruenberg Photography
