Here are the schedules for the first two rounds of play by local teams in Friday’s AHSAA regional softball tournaments.

All are double-elimination format, with the first two games in each class on Friday and the remaining games on Saturday. Schedules are subject to change, especially considering the forecast of rain on both Friday and Saturday; we’ll update schedules as we are updated by the AHSAA.

The top two teams in each class advance to the state tournament next week in Montgomery.

NORTH CENTRAL REGIONAL, Munny Sokol Park, Tuscaloosa

FULTONDALE, Class 2A

First game: 9:30 a.m. vs. Hale County

If they win: Plays Pleasant Valley-Cold Springs winner at 12:30 p.m.

If they lose: Plays Pleasant Valley-Cold Springs loser at 11 a.m.

LOCUST FORK, Class 4A

First game: 3:30 p.m. vs. Cleburne County

If they win: Plays Cherokee County-Crossville winner at 6:30 p.m.

If they lose: Plays Cherokee County-Crossville loser at 6:30 p.m.

HAYDEN, Class 5A

First game: 5 p.m. vs. Springville

If they win: Plays McAdory-Wenonah winner at 8 p.m.

If they lose: Plays McAdory-Wenonah loser at 6:30 p.m.

GARDENDALE, Class 6A

First game: 5 p.m. vs. Vestavia Hills

If they win: Plays Hueytown-Tuscaloosa County winner at 8 p.m.

If they lose: Plays Hueytown-Tuscaloosa County loser at 8 p.m.

SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL, Sportsplex, Troy

CORNER, Class 4A

First game: 3:30 p.m. vs. Calera

If they win: Plays Beauregard-Tallassee winner at 6:30 p.m.

If they lose: Plays Beauregard-Tallassee loser at 6:30 p.m.
