A woman from Hayden has checked in and is reported to be okay, after one or more explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon killed at least two people and injured many more.

Shawn Collier Hazelrig, 40, was a runner in the nation’s best-known annual marathon, and had reportedly already crossed the 40-km (25 mile) mark at 3:20 p.m. Eastern time, according to the race’s automated scoring system. That split time came about two kilometers, or 1.2 miles, before the finish line where the explosions occurred.

Police and race officials diverted runners away from the finish line after the explosions.

Hazelrig’s husband posted on Facebook shortly after the incident that Shawn was safe and sound.

Meanwhile, police continue to comb through the downtown Boston area, with various reports of more explosive devices found that did not explode. As of 4:40 p.m. ET, most reports list two people as being killed (the New York Post reports 12) and dozens injured, some of them losing limbs.
