Funeral services for Mr. Billy Gene Harbison, 81 of Cullman, will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be a 1:30 p.m. Graveside service at Graham Cemetery, Mt. Olive with Rev. G.J. Chandler, Wade Maynard and Terry Harbison officiating.

Mr. Harbison passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1931 in Cullman to Rufus and Minnie Owens Harbison. Billy was a Baptist minister, a Korean War Veteran and had retired from Imperial Marble and Tile in Birmingham.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Terry Joe Harbison, Sr.; an infant daughter and infant son; three sisters and two brothers.

His is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jo Cowart Harbison; one daughter, Vickie Lynn (Ronnie) Hicks; five grandchildren, Melissa (Bobby) Thompson, Laura Beth (Tim) Martin, Terry Joe (Cerri) Harbison, Jr., Matthew Harbison and Jason Harbison; seven great-grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Charlotte Herring.

The family wishes to thank, Omega Hospice, Dr. Gregory Meiman, Sharon Turner, Sherry Nash, Paula Knighten and Starla Dooley for their service.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m.
