The Indians won the game with a three-run sixth inning, set up by three singles. The scoring plays, though, came on a wild pitch that allowed Scott Falkinburg to come home, followed by three consecutive fielder’s choice plays that scored two more runs.

Jared McCurdy scored Pinson’s first run when he got a lead-off walk, moved to third base on two singles and scored on an error.

Moody’s run came in the sixth on a Ken’yada Teague double.

The win sets up a doubleheader that’s scheduled for Thursday to decide the area championship. A win for the Indians in either game would give them that championship and home-field advantage, as the Indians hold the tiebreaker over Springville by winning two of their three games.
