Blake Byrd drove in both Yellow Jacket runs on a hit in the fifth inning, after Cougar pitcher Khalil Williams had walked the bases full.

It was the only real trouble Williams had all day, as he struck out six Yellow Jackets in the complete-game victory.

Byrd accounted for two of Corner’s three hits for the game.
