Don’t blame law enforcement, school officials for snow issues

Anyone want to talk about the safety of our kids? It infuriates me to hear people running around talking about the snow debacle. It is not the sheriff’s or the chief of police’s fault that there were not enough resources to get to some of the wrecks and school buses, nor was it the school administrations’ fault.
It is the county commission’s job and the city council’s job to see to it that the county has enough sand and chemical trucks and four-wheel drive vehicles. Lets make sure tax money and other resources are going for the right things. If the sheriff needs more personnel or more four-wheel drive vehicles and the same goes for the chief of police, it’s also the citizens of this county to make sure their voices are heard to provide the sheriff’s office and the chief of police with the resources they need.
They are doing an amazing job with the resources they have. This was an act of nature no one had any control of.
