Vola Laverne Wood, 65 of Fultondale, went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 21 at Friendship Independent Church at 2 p.m. with a visitation period beginning at 11:30 a.m. until service. Interment will follow at Old Walker Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Al Jerkins will be officiating the service.
