The Kimberly City Council went into a brief executive session to discuss possible pending litigation against the city, but took no action concerning such a lawsuit during its regular meeting Tuesday.
In fact, the meeting’s agenda was light; the only action taken was the approval of $450 for the purchase of parts to repair two lawn mowers.
The council tabked action on estimates for the city’s liability insurance, in order to give Finance Committee Chair Donna Cude and Mayor Bob Ellerbrock more time to analyze proposals. Councilors did ask questions of an representative regarding a proposal for the insurance.
The council also tabled action on negotiating the sale of a city-owned empty lot at 9245 Jefferson Street.
