Taylor Dailey and Chelsey Deloney each scored 13 points, as Gardendale defeated Hueytown 59-31 Thursday to advance to the consolation finals of the Jefferson County Girls Basketball Tournament at Shades Valley.

Caroline Casaday and Mallorie Corbin added nine points each for the Rockets. Jordan Johnson led the Golden Gophers with seven points.

Gardendale faces Minor in the consolation finals this evening.
