Mortimer Jordan hosts toy drive for Burkett Center

Mortimer Jordan High School is collecting toys to be distributed at the Burkett Center for the Multi-Handicapped, located in the former MJHS campus in Morris.
The center requests toys that light up, play music or make noise. Toy trucks and cars and Leap Pad and Leap Frog products are also useful. The school prefers that toys have a hard surface; cloth stuffed toys are difficult to keep sanitized. The center also needs adult-sized bibs.
Donations can be dropped off at Mortimer Jordan High School, at 1920 Blue Devil Drive in Kimberly. Toys for the center will also be collected at the Dec. 14 basketball game against Hayden, where each fan is asked to bring a toy.
The toys will be presented to Burkett Center students, parents and staff during the Dec. 18 basketball game.
