Charles “Chuck” D. Dobbs, age 58 of Gardendale went to be with our Saviour Jesus on December 3, 2012. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sheila Dobbs; daughters, Stacy Dobbs Rhoads and Lisa Dobbs Comfort; son-in-laws, Mark Roads and Chris Comfort; four beautiful granddaughters, Sara, Katie, Leia  and Ivy; mother, Jo Beard; sisters Charlotte Wolfe and Frieda Pearson. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dobbs, Sr.

Chuck was a faithful and loving husband, father, papa and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching Alabama Football, playing with his granddaughters and good food. As owners of Dobbs and Associates, P.C., he helped many clients, friends and family during his 37 years as a CPA. Chuck is leaving us way too soon and will be sorely missed! We love you! A visitation will be held at Gardendale Funeral Home Tuesday, December 4, from 5:30 until 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 5 at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with interment following at Moncrief Cemetery, Gardendale.
