Marcus Baldwin scored 16 points as homestanding Clay-chalkville scored a mercy-rule win over Gardendale by a 68-38 score Thursday night in boys basketball action.

The Rockets (3-3) struggled from the field, hitting only two shots out of 18 from behind the 3-point arc and 30 percent overall.

Allen Williams led all scorers with 19 points, and D.J. Lewis pulled fown six rebounds for Gardendale.
