Multi-State Lottery Corporation officials said that winning tickets were sold in Arizona and Missouri for the $550 million top prize. However, both Tennessee and Georgia sold tickets that matched all five white balls but not the red Powerball. Those tickets are worth $1 million each.

The winning numbers are 5, 16, 22, 23 and 29, and the Powerball is 6.

The jackpot, which had not been hit in 16 straight draws, now rolls back to the starting jackpot of $40 million.

The Jackpot was the highest ever for the Powerball game, which costs $2 per play. It was second pnly to a $656 million prize in the companion Megamillions lottery back in March.
