Tony Jerome Brakefield, born Dec. 20, 1958, passed away on April 5, 2012 at the age of 53.

Tony was proceeded in death by his mother, Ruth Brakefield.

Survivors include his father, T.J. Brakefield (Regina); children, Nathan and Rachel Brakefield and grandchildren, Emma and Tyler Raleigh Thomas and a host of family and friends.

Services were held at Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church and pallbearers all wore Alabama shirts to honor Tony’s love of Alabama Crimson Tide football.
