Congressman Spencer Bachus, R-Vestavia Hills, has cancelled his scheduled event at Kimberly Fire and Rescue on Wednesday.

Bachus was scheduled to meet with department members during a training session Wednesday night. Press spokesman Tim Johnson announced in a press release that the event “has been postponed to a later date to be announced.”

No word on the cause of the postponement.
