Did you see the tallest Leprechaun in the world around town this month? He was here with his friendly green helpers serving his good luck charm and free breakfasts to several local businesses and neighborhoods. Who is this mysterious team of locals? It is a group known as Friends of North Jefferson.

Your Friends of North Jefferson was put into place in August of 2011 with the purpose of serving breakfast to local communities throughout the north Jefferson area. This venture began as a weekly event but is now put on once a month over a two-to-three day span in various neighborhoods which range from apartment complexes to townhouses or family household communities and neighborhoods. Friends of North Jefferson is a group of local businesses spread throughout the north Jefferson area that remain continuously active in the community participating in different events and serving breakfast now on a monthly basis, spotlighting an upcoming holiday within that month.

For the month of April they are focusing the “Breakfast on the Go” around the Easter holiday. Chick-fil-a is partnering with Friends of North Jefferson to give away chicken biscuits which will be accompanied with juice and some Easter goodies. This breakfast is absolutely free so be sure to stop by and enjoy the most important meal of the day and have you or your child’s picture made with the Easter Bunny who will be in town, as well as at the lucky neighborhoods picked for this month.
