Dry and windy weather conditions increase the danger of fires quickly getting out of control. In the last 30 days, there have been 246 wildfires that burned more than 4,000 acres in Alabama.

Everyone who attempts to burn debris or light a fire outdoors including campfires, is encouraged to exercise extreme caution.
