The Raiders will now face top-ranked Holly Pond Thursday at 5 p.m.

After an almost scoreless first quarter, the Aggies put the first points of the game on the board with roughly two minutes left on the clock on a layup by Melody Manasco. Good Hope answered moments after when Kacy Thomas drained a 3-pointer to give the Raiders a 3-2 advantage heading into the second period.

The ball continued to bounce in favor of Good Hope the rest of the way, as they outscored the Aggies 10-0 for an 11-point advantage at the half.

“We’ve gotten ourselves in some foul trouble lately, so the big thing was that we only had one foul at the half,” Good Hope coach Scotty Cofer said. “Overall, we played really well and put ourselves in a good position early.”

Fairview chipped away their deficit as the third quarter began, eventually outscoring the Raiders 10-9. However, Good Hope still managed to lead 22-12 heading into the final period of play.

Kayla Scott led all Good Hope scorers with 13 points. Alannah Henke added eight, while Celest Whisenant and Thomas contributed four points apiece. Sydney Phares scored three points and Josie Stanley had two.

For Fairview, Manasco, Sarah Harper and Kaitlyn Broach all had four points to lead the Aggies. Katie Noreiga chipped in with two.
